New Fable game being developed: Fable Fortune + register for closed Beta!

Well here's something to look forward to and although it may not be a traditional fable game, it seems likely to still hold that chicken kicking spirit we've come to love. So there is a new game set in the Fable universe now in development at Flaming Fowl Studios, The team being made up of ex-Lionhead studios (RIP in Peace.) The game is going to be called: Fable Fortune  and is going to be a collectable card game that promises to have PVP and Co-Op.
The game has been crowdfunded on kickstarter and a total of £58,852 has been pledged of an original £250,000 goal and is officially going to steam soon with a closed beta.

"Thanks to your support and the positive reviews from our current players, we know we have something special on our hands and want to enable as many people as possible to experience Fable Fortune over the coming weeks and months. Ultimately, we believe following this path is the best way to achieve this goal." - Stated on their 21 June 2016 update

New beginnings

Hi all.
First of all thank you so much for checking this blog out.
This is an update kind of.
I know I'm in no way active, and on top of that the site for fable modding has shut down.

Now what does this mean for the future of this blog?
Well I'll be taking what I've done and my love for fable onto youtube.
I'll link my channel at the end.
Look there's nothing there yet but what will be to come is an in depth look at what made fable my favorite game of all time, what could be fixed to make it better and general complaints and praises.

The channel will start with this fable video that should be out mid september and will continue for other games thereafter.

I hope you enjoy what is to come and thank you all once again.

How To Mod Fable Anniversary/ Modding Capabilities

1. Download ShadowNet here
2. Download updated def.xml here
3. Move the def.xml file to the ShadowNet folder
4. Run ShadowNet as admin
5. Go to File->Open and change the file type to search for .bin files
6. Open names.bin and then game.bin

If ShadowNet doesn't load or it has Fable TLC files loaded, change the directory in the config.xml in the ShadowNet folder.

So I tried this out and I was able to edit some Defs. 

Made assassin's rush longer but not as Long as I wanted to.

Seems like only basic mods are working and the community does not seem up to it.

Hi there all of you

I thought that I'd do something different today and supply you all with some Fable Trivia.

these come directly from the internet not from myself.

Trivia:

1. Early in Fable's development, the game was called Project Ego.
2. In the Lychfield Graveyard there is a grave stone that reads "Cpt. J. Sparrow: May the wind always be at your back".
3. Sometimes during battles, one of your enemies will respond with, "It's just a flesh wound."
4. In the Oakvale memorial garden, there are gravestones of Dene Carter and Simon Carter, the directors of Big Blue Box the development team for the game.
5. In Fable II , In addition to the loading screen that references "Your Health is Low," there is a potion shop in Fable II that is named "Your Health Is Low." Many of Fable's "Your Health Is Low" references are based on the over-all disdain towards being told this every time your health reaches a certain point in the original Fable.
6. Fable 3 also makes a reference to "Your Health Is Low." On one of the tombstones in the Mourningwood Graveyard, the quote "Your Health Is Low" is featured on one.
7. Fable 3 also has other references. One tombstone features the quote "It is dangerous to go alone. Take this" which is of course a quote from the original Legend of Zelda.
8. Another tombstone in Fable III features the quote "Here lies Arnold. He will not be back." Which is a reference to Arnold Schwarzenegger.
9. In Fable II The Swarthy Revenge Indigo dye is an obvious reference to the character Inigo Montoya from The Princess Bride. This is supported by the statement in the description, "You have crushed its flowers. Prepare to dye." This is a parody of Inigo Montoya's infamous quote, "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
10. In Fable II 
11. There is a loading screen which mentions a rumor that the Hero of Oakvale murdered the Guildmaster and carved "your health is low" on his forehead. This is a little joke, as in Fable he contacts the hero every time his health is low
12. In Fable III Even though Logan is seen wearing the crown in the trailer and pictures, he is never seen with it in game.
13. In Fable III During the quest "Crime and Punishment", the player can find a cake and a Hobbe worshiping a crate with hearts on the sides. These are both references to the Portal series.

Dante's Coat (Maze Coat Re-texture)

This is a re-texture of Maze's Coat to Look a little like Dante's coat from Devil May Cry. It's more of a tribute to DMC and Dante so it's not his actual Coat.

I'm Back

Hey all sorry about the lack of activity,
But I got a new Laptop and my Fable tlc Was not working.
I finally got it to work so Everything should go back to normal.
I'm planning on doing weekly updates.
I'm going to do another review next and that should be up by Tuesday.

Lately I have not gotten any ideas of what to do for a mod. So here it is: Requests!
Here are the Rules and Notes for these requests:
1- Please leave as much info as possible on the mod you want
2- Paitience is required (I will do it eventually)
3- All Mods WILL be done if I am capable
4- I mainly do Retextures
5- I can do a lot more than retextures so feel free to request anything
